Summer 2018, Back Forty Beer Company joined Birmingham’s thriving craft beer scene with the opening of a new microbrewery at Sloss Docks. Back Forty–Birmingham Owner & CEO, Douglas Brown, chose this location due to the dramatic views of Sloss Furnaces and the nearby active railway. The venue is the perfect spot for customers to drink a beer or two in the tap room or vast outdoor garden, do a little train watching, and enjoy the occasional live band.
