Birmingham Central Market Grand Opening

The Birmingham Central Market it officially open as of October 30th, 2019.

The grand opening celebration was complete with a ribbon cutting by Birmingham Mayor Randall Woodfin. The market is located at the Birmingham Intermodal Terminal on Morris Avenue and 17th Street South. It will serve approximately 2,500 to 11,000 bus riders who move through the terminal daily. The items sold include fresh vegetables, fruit, eggs, honey and more! The hope of the new Central Market is to give Birmingham residents easy access to fresh produce from local farmers.
