In case you missed it, fast-healthy eatery BLUEROOT officially opened its flagship in Pepper Place!
BLUEROOT brings the trifecta of nutrient-dense, delightfully delicious, and incredibly convenient foods to Birmingham — because they believe no one should have to sacrifice convenience for health or flavor. Launching in Pepper Place was a full circle moment for BLUEROOT, as they first introduced the concept to Birmingham at the farmers market two years ago, next to some of the very farmers from whom they sourced local goods.
The BLUEROOT menu expands on many of the favorites guests have come to love – like the Farmstand Salad or Not Your Mama’s Rice Crispy Treat – and celebrates goods from the ground. Plant-forward options create the base for the wide menu of salads and grain bowls, which can be topped off with locally sourced proteins including roasted chicken, grilled pork, and maple salmon cured in house. In addition, on Saturdays they will now offer a special breakfast menu including toasts and BLUEROOT’s signature Naked Eggs.
BLUEROOT Is proud to have created 20 new jobs with the launch of the eatery, including culinary, guest service, operations, and management roles! Supporting the community and other local businesses is so important to BLUEROOT — check out details about their local partnerships here!
