Jeni’s Splendid Ice Creams is coming to Pepper Place next Spring!
We are thrilled to finally share the news that James Beard Award-winning ice cream maker, Jeni Britton Bauer, is bringing her crave-worthy ice creams to Pepper Place. The Pepper Place scoop shop will be Jeni’s first location in Alabama! They offer an array of unique flavors including signature classics like the Brambleberry Crisp and Gooey Butter Cake, to a new line of impossibly delicious dairy-free flavors.
The jewel-box design for the Pepper Place scoop shop will be 640 square feet with abundant outdoor seating on a huge patio, bringing another James Beard Award-winning culinary option to the entertainment district- See the rendering pictured below!
“We love Birmingham, and have many friends in food and entrepreneurship in the city, and are so happy to join one of our favorite communities on the planet,” said Jeni’s Founder Jeni Britton Bauer. “We came through on a tour we did of great American cities in 2016, meeting makers, celebrating creativity and community, and I’ve dreamt of opening here ever since. We can’t wait to find even more inspiration and to share it with the world.”
