A Night to Remember at Ovenbird

On November 6th, fans of both Chef Chris Hastings and Campesino Rum gathered at OvenBird in Pepper Place for an evening of food, drinks, and fun. This collaboration was filled with delicious wild game appetizers cooked over an open fire and handcrafted Campesino cocktails. Guests were given the opportunity to taste Campesino Rum, and see what the recent local buzz is all about. In addition, Chef Chris Hastings and Hatton Smith, founder of Campesino Rum, shared tips and stories as the night filled OvenBird’s courtyard.

OvenBird is known for their live fire, epicurean menu, which takes seasonal Southern ingredients to create a wide variety small plates. Pulling inspiration from the live fire traditions of Spain, Portugal, Uruguay, Argentina and the American South, you certainly don’t feel like you’re in Birmingham when you are dining at OvenBird.
