Enjoy all your favorites from the comfort of your own home!

While you’ve been embracing your inner Julia Childs and cooking at home the past few days, you eventually get to the point where you want a meal from one of your favorite Pepper Place restaurants. While dining room services are temporarily suspended, several Pepper Place restaurants are creating options for you to take home.

Here’s their current status:

Back Forty: open starting at 11am, Back Forty’s online ordering and curbside pick-up make it incredibly easy to get your favorite burger in Birmingham. Be sure to pair it with one of the beers (and maybe order an extra side of fries). Find their full list of offerings here.

Bettola: open from 12noon to 8pm Monday through Friday and Saturdays from 2-8pm, Italian food is certainly comfort food these days. Call and they will have it ready for you or order when you get there or enjoy a glass of wine while you wait (and social distance!). Bettola recently expanded their menu to offer Family Takeaway, which includes meat by the pound and lasagna for two. Check out their full menu and order online here.

Blueprint on 3rd: As of Wednesday, May 6, this American Brasserie is offering curbside pickup! Open Monday through Saturday, you can call and place your order as early as 11am and pick it up between 4 and 8pm from the Hop City Drive Thru. All of the details and the family curb side menu can be found here.

Hot & Hot Fish Club: Beginning May 1st, Hot & Hot Fish Club is offering its infamous Tomato Salads for curb side and to go orders only. They will be open for orders via phone and online every Tuesday through Saturday from 4 to 8pm and on Saturdays during the Market at Pepper Place from 10am – 1pm. All of the details can be found here.

The Lumbar: Open Tuesday through Sunday from 12noon to 7pm, the Lumbar has your back with curbside pick-up. You can either order online or call 205-386-5725. Be sure to take advantage of their sidewalk bar and cocktail kits!

OvenBird: this live-fire restaurant is temporarily closed, but we highly recommend you follow along on social media as they open for special occasions (like Mother’s Day!).

Red Cat: Fuel your day with a latte from Red Cat. While you can’t linger like you normally would, a pastry and Bengal latte from our favorite coffee shop helps create a sense of normalcy. In the interim, you can also support their staff by contributing to this GoFundMe.
