That’s why we’re excited to help spread the news that Birmingham has partnered with Gotcha (powered by Bolt) and Veo to bring shared micromobility to our city. On April 16th, 50 bikes and 150 scooters were delivered to our neighborhood for the community to utilize. You can easily rent these bikes and scooters for a small cost – Here’s what you need to know:
How do I rent a bike or scooter?
Renting the bikes and scooters is so easy! Simply download either the Gotcha or Veo app in the apple store on your phone and create an account to get started.
What’s the cost?
There is a $1 fee to unlock any Gotcha device. Gotcha (powered by Bolt)’s e-bikes and stand-up scooters will cost $0.33/minute, and their sit-down scooters will cost $0.38/minute. They also offer several types of monthly passes.
There is a $3 fee to unlock any Veo device, but users get $2 back when they park at a corral/parking area. Veo’s bikes will cost $0.10/minute, and their scooters will cost $0.33/minute.
