Stone Hollow Farmstead’s Summer CSA
Get ready, Stone Hollow Farmstead’s 10-week Summer CSA is right around the corner!
Curious what a CSA is? The idea of a CSA (Community Supported Agriculture) is to support local farmers and their crops by purchasing a share of their harvest in advance. By participating in a CSA, members have a direct connection to the farm and the farmers who grow their food, and they share in the risks and rewards of farming.
From June 6th through August 8th enjoy a weekly farm box filled with organically or locally grown veggies, beautifully preserved food in jars, fresh fruits, eggs, and bread — all from the Stone Hollow farm and other local farmers. This year Stone Hollow Farmstead is offering a one-size-fits-most families box — this farm box will feed 2 to 4 people comfortably. The first ten weeks will include beautiful spring vegetables, salad greens, Stone Hollow Farmstead’s farm fresh rainbow eggs, and fresh bread from Hinkle’s Bakery.
Each week’s content will be curated according to what is in peak season, with recipes crafted to deliver delicious meals. All Stone Hollow Farmstead produce and flowers are grown using organic practices. CSA box contents vary from week to week but include organically or locally grown produce, as well as beautifully preserved food in jars, local bread, and pasta. Presented in Stone Hollow Farmstead CSA reusable boxes!
