Gray is a serial entrepreneur, business owner, world traveler, activist, philanthropist, and has been a celebrity hair colourist & stylist for the last 31 years. He is based in Southern California, seeing his clients privately in Beverly Hills, Malibu, Laguna Beach, and all of Los Angeles.
Because of his deep southern roots and fiercely loyal and long time clients all over the southern U.S., Gray has opened a super-chic posh boutique salon aptly named “The Only Gray” at historic Pepper Place in the heart of Birmingham AL.
Gray is known internationally as an award winning and renowned hair colourist and stylist. He travels extensively, creating runway and editorial styles for such names as Emporio Armani, Marc Jacobs, House of Sillage, Anine Bing, and Marco Marco, just to name a few. Gray is also a celebrity favorite creating original colour and styles for many high powered names in the Industry including Stevie Nicks, Carson Kressley, Vinessa Shaw, Laura Benanti, Ana Mulvoy-Ten, Krizia Bajos, Nick Carson, Alyssa Diaz, Steven Dehler, Emma Zander, Jeremy Thurber, Lisa Origliasso of the Veronicas, and his roster keeps growing.
Gray says that the most rewarding thing about his career is that he continues to build lifelong friendships and deep connections with all of his many loyal clients. He credits his incredible team, the unconditional love and support that he receives from his chosen family tribe, and his desire to inspire and heal the lives of others for his wild success.
